In case you’re just getting started with the Bible readings, I couldn’t resist including a “summary” of what Chuck Missler taught about Genesis’ chapter 5. Watch this:
The Meaning and Order of Names = Code
Interesting, huh? Please comment.
Tonight we’re reading Matthew 2. [audio] and here’s an interesting take on that:
This morning, I woke up hours beyond my usual time for 5:00 prayer and devotional, but the spiritual connection I needed was waiting for me. I’m very grateful for the innovations in communication like blogs and Twitter and Godtube. Some of the discussions I’m finding are going to make this so enjoyable.
If you’re checking this out today, Welcome! We continue with Genesis 3, 4, 5 [audio] in the Old Testament this morning.

Teaching on Chapter 5 -Part 2
Tonight we will read Matthew 2. [audio]
The miracles continue today in the final 6 chapters of John and the first 6 chapters of Acts. Try to pick out a passage that has particular meaning and emphasis for you, especially if it holds promise. And remember, it is the Spirit that gives life.

Today is very special.
First, it is Labor Day, a legal holiday here in the United States. A time when workers are acknowledged for their contribution to the nation’s productivity.
Second, it marks the final preparation for back-to-school routines.
And third, it is the first day of not one, but two new months – the 1st of September on the Gregorian calendar, and the 1st of Elul on the Hebraic calendar (God’s timepiece).
The month of Elul signifies a period of manifest grace and favor. The key, however, is worship, and the book of John is filled with miracles. Catch the spirit as you move through it and into Acts this week.
Continue with 10 chapters. Here are the quick-start links for
